Celebrate Easter with Stockan's Oatcakes

Creating the perfect Easter Board

1. Choose Your Oatcakes: For robust cheeses, pick our Orkney Thick Oatcakes. For lighter cheeses, try our Orkney Thin Oatcakes. Both are delicious!
2. Add a Selection of Cheese &/or Meats : Add your favourite cheeses, such as cheddar, brie, or camembert, smoked fish and meats.
3. Toppings & Sides: Complement your board with grapes, chutney, a selection of freshly prepared vegetables, and even honey and fig jam for a sweet contrast.
4. Arrange & Share: Place everything on a large serving platter and let everyone dig in!

Elevate your Canapés: Savoury Easter Bites

a) Roast Beef & Horseradish Canapés

• Best with: Mini Cracked Black Pepper Oatcakes
• Ingredients: 4 slices of roast beef, cut into small pieces / 1 tbsp horseradish purée / Small handful of watercress
• Method: Spread a thin layer of horseradish purée onto each oatcake / Top with roast beef and a few sprigs of watercress / Serve and enjoy!

b) Mozzarella, Tomato & Pesto Canapés

• Best with: Orkney Thick Triangles Oatcakes
• Ingredients: 1 ball of buffalo mozzarella, torn into small pieces / 6 cherry tomatoes, halved / 2 tbsp pesto
• Method: Spread a small amount of pesto onto each oatcake / Top with a piece of mozzarella and half a cherry tomato / Serve immediately and enjoy!
